He is survived by: his wife Paula Carter; his children, Krista Carter Shaffer (Mike Pozzi) and Deron Carter (Lori); his brother James K. Carter; his half-brother Robert C. Carter; his grandchildren, Johcelyn Schumacher (John), Kasey Shaffer, Mikenna Pozzi, Cameron Carter (Mariah) and Garrett Carter (Allurah); and his great grandchildren, Avery, Mason, Brooklyn Schumacher, Oliver, Lucinda Shaffer, Addy Hartman and Waylon Carter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws.
