As we bid Lya Ann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lya Ann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Merl Ellis; and her sister Helen Knerr. She is survived by: her son David E. Ellis; her granddaughter Dona D. (Dede); her sisters, Dona Dixeson and Phillis Brown; her grandchildren, Lacey Woerpel, Mark Bafia and Elliott Bafia; and her great grandchildren, Dylan Woerpel, Noah Woerpel and Summer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
