He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Martens and Willy Martens; his brother Ray Martens; and his pet Cody. He is survived by: his sons, Whitney and Gary Martens; his sister Lorie McClurg; and his grandchildren, Deverie Hunt, Garrett Martens, Jessica Bowie and Eric Martens. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
