He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolf Reif and Hazel Reif; his wife Jean; and his brothers, Herman and Bernie.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne (Rebecca) and Sandra Birner (Jonathan); his grandchildren, David Birner (Amanda), Zachary Birner (Kit), Kasey Reif and Kelly Reif; and his close friend Beverly. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
