She is survived by: her daughters, Dominique Lucas, Darcelle Lucas of Schenectady, NY and Devan Diabate of Fuquay-Varina, NC; her siblings, Myra Young, Carlese Burnett of Tampa, FL, Bernadine Byrd of Newark, NJ, Janice Pursley, Michelle Lucas of Ocala, FL, Val Smith, Yolanda Lucas of Fayetteville, NC, Michael Lucas of St. Petersburg, FL and Glenn Young; her grandchildren, Tsayana Lucas of Albany, NY, Amaria Lucas of Schenectady, NY and James Mayweather II of Fuquay-Varina, NC.; her nieces, Tina Byrd of North Plainfield, NJ and Kenyetta Cheatum of Lumberton, NJ.; and her cousin Deborah Young of Schenectady, NY. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and devoted friends.
