William leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. William’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew William will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Bernard (Krys) of Tennessee and Amy Hasegawa (Michael) of Oak Park; his siblings, R. Spencer Bernard, J. Clayton Bernard (Jaime) and Clara Bernard; and his grandparents, George, Shelly Uslenghi and Frances Spencer of Hawaii. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Graceway Church (10200 Morningside Dr, Leesburg, FL 34788). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of River Forest (200 S Lone Oak Dr, Leesburg, FL 34748).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Young Life Oak Park-River Forest, and Absolution Anglican Church of Leesburg, Florida.
