He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Boyd Sr. and Burley Boyd; his in-laws, Lavern and Jean Peterson; his daughter-in-law Brenda Boyd; and his niece Julie Peterson.
He is survived by: his children, Don and Debbie Dittmar (Chuck); his grandchildren, Megan Williams (Eric), Jacob Dittmar and Ashley (Hal); his great grandchildren, Maddy, Carrie Williams, Andi Dittmar and Charlie McLamb; his brother Ralph Boyd; his brothers-in-law, Douglas Peterson (Paula) and Dwaine Peterson (Shirley); and his sibling's children, Joe Peterson, Dave Peterson, Sullivan Boyd, Terri Peterson, Lisa Peterson, Erika Boyd and Abi Boyd.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lee Memorial Park (12777 FL-82, Fort Myers, FL 33913, USA). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hodges Funeral Home (12777 FL-82, Lehigh Acres, FL 33973). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Lee Memorial Park (12777 FL-82, Fort Myers, FL 33913, USA).
Memorial contributions may be given to Hope Hospice or to the Kiwanis Scholarship Fund.
