He is survived by: his children, John Jr. (Chrissy) of Lehigh Acres, FL, James (Marty) of Chicago, Susan Portanova (Michael) of Scituate, MA and Daniel (Anna) of Scituate; his grandchildren, Patrick Portanova of Tucson, AZ, Jack Portanova of Colorado Springs, Brendan Portanova of North Attleboro, MA, Michael Portanova of Scituate, MA., Grace Portanova of Scituate, MA., Priscilla Shea of Scituate, MA., Micky Shea of Scituate, MA., Shirley Shea of Scituate, MA. and Goldie Shea of Scituate, MA.; his wife Annie; his siblings, Eddie, Rick, Steve, Carol and Cindy; and his friend Bill W.. He is also survived by cousins.
