She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Brohen; and her parents, Đông Nguyên and Lê Thi Nguyễn. She is survived by: her son Michael J Monteiro (Aimee) of Lehigh Acres, Florida; and her stepson Michael Brohen Jr. of Connecticut. She is also survived by her sister, brothers, several nieces, nephews all in Vietnam and her cousins & friends.
