He is survived by: his wife Varvara "Barbara" Alexiou (Zantouliadis); his sons, Demetrios "Jim" Alexiou (Denice) of Vero Beach, FL and George Alexiou (Jennifer) of Indian Trail, NC; and his grandchildren, Nicole Alexiou and Nicholas Alexiou.
