He was predeceased by: his parents, Rachel and Frank. He is survived by: his stepsisters, Janet, Phyl and Harriett; his children, Wendy and Eddie (Julie); his grandchildren, Rachel, Trey and Aidan; his wife Carolyn "Ginny" Hodges; and his caregivers, Betty and Ingrid.

Ed was an amazing caregiver to Ginny following her stroke and mental decline, which inspired his generous donations to Alzheimer associations.
