He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Madden of Live Oak, FL.; his sons, Merle Madden of South Carolina, Robert Lee Madden of Virginia, Yancey Madden of Live Oak, FL and Craig Madden of New York State; and his sisters, Sue Gay of Jay, FL, Jo Foster of Samson, AL, Mary Beth Mullins of Niceville, FL and Linda McCormick of Niceville, FL.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
