She was predeceased by: her father Horace Williams; her husband W. C. Starling; her parent Abbie Lanier Williams; her brothers, Billy, Elston and Raymond; her brother-in-law Harry Moseley; her son-in-law Curtis Poston; and her sisters-in-law, Von Erie Williams and Wannie Mae Williams.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wynette Poston, Wanda Frier (Wayne), Sheila Burnham (George), Sharon Capps (Ronnie) and Robin Land (Todd); her siblings, Donald William, Jimmy Williams (Gloria), Ronald Williams (Carolyn) and Geraldine Moseley; her sisters-in-law, Vivian Williams and Oveda Williams; and her grandchildren, Keith Poston (Christina), Matt Frier (Kerri), Todd Frier (Carmon), Georgette Robinson (Travis), Jennifer Holtzclaw (Mike), Candice Boatwright (Bobby), Abigail Crosby (Steven) and Adrienne Craven (Josh). She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
