She was predeceased by : her husband Jack Kent; and her siblings, Emma Thompson, Lawanna Wiggins, Robert Hancock, Ronnie Hancock, Wes Hancock, George Hancock and JD Hancock.

She is survived by : her children, Marilyn Hunter (Mark) and Lamar Kent (Teresa); her brother Russell Hancock; and her grandchild Ashley Chandler (Scott).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory (1126 Ohio Ave N, Live Oak, FL 32064). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
