It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hazel Reaves of Live Oak, Florida, born in Fort Pierce, Florida, who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Herman E. Reaves; her son Gary Reaves; and her grandson Blake Reaves. She is survived by: her sons, Mark Reaves (Martha) of Newberry, FL, Earl Reaves (Annette) of Sitka, Karl Reaves of Live Oak and Jesse Reaves of Gainesville, FL.; her daughter-in-law Theresa Reaves of Aster, FL; her brother Mitchell Smith of Dowling Park, FL.; and her grandchildren, Shawn Reaves, Kjaristy Fogarty (Brian), Kyle Reaves and Darren Reaves. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Daniels Memorial Chapel (408 Suwannee Ave, Branford, FL 32008). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
