We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2025, Irene Maddux of Live Oak, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Irene shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Irene farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband J. T. Maddux; and her daughter Patty Butler. She is survived by: her children, Clara Brown (Raleigh), Joe Maddux and James Maddux (Lisa); and her brother Yutaka Yoshinaga. She is also survived by four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many beloved friends.
