He was predeceased by: his parents, P. C. Crapps, Jr. and Virginia Birchfield Crapps; and his brothers, Claude, III, David, Peat, James and George Crapps.
He is survived by: his siblings, Daniel Crapps, Betsy Burch, Jenny Johnson (Bill) and Dicy Hannum; and his close friend Judy Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
