We announce the death of Kenneth Herron Jr. in Live Oak, Florida, who passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 84. Kenneth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Kenneth’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Herron; his daughter Caroline Skinner; and his parents, Elven Kenneth and Doris Ardell Herron. He is survived by: his children, Kellie S. Hart (Dewayne) of Live Oak, Kenny Herron, II (Betty) of Bartow and Clay Herron of Live Oak; and his siblings, Shelby Webb of Live Oak, Brenda Haefeker (Doran), Marilyn Gaines (Frank) of Jacksonville, David Herron (Mary) of Live Oak and Dean Herron of Live Oak. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Daniels Memorial Chapel (1126 Ohio Ave N, Live Oak, FL 32064).
