It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Ann Wheeler Lord of Live Oak, Florida, who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Pittman and Verdia Mae Anderson Pittman; her former husband Virgil L. Wheeler; her husband Sidney Lord; and her siblings, Bill, Bobby, Richard, Winston, Jonathan Pittman and Libby Moore.
She is survived by: her sons, Lamar (Sassy), Virgil and Jeffrey Wheeler; her stepchildren, Adrienne Lord Grant (Kevin) and Jackson Lord (Michelle); her sisters, Wanda McCall and Jean McGarrah; her grandchildren, Erryn, Shannon Wheeler, Rev. Carter, Suzanne, Jarrett Grant, Meredith Lord Hicks (Robert), Natalie, Samuel, Audrey and Jacob; her siblings' children, Cindy Santerfeit and Zach Barber; Virgil L. Wheeler.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Philadelphia Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Philadelphia Baptist Church Shoebox Ministry, 15824 169th Rd., McAlpin, FL 32062.
