He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Lee Hester Sr. and Audrey Elsie Hester; and his nieces, Stephanie and Jennifer. He is survived by: his sons, Samuel T Hester Jr. (Nikita Hester) and Caleb Hester (Morgan Hester); his grandsons, Brexton Hester and Kayson Hester; and his siblings, Charlie Hester, Jr. (Roseanna), Juliette Miller, David Hester (Pat), Harvey Hester (Katrina), Tresie Thomas, Daniel Hester (Josie), Anita Fortescue, Philip Hester (June) and Dorcas McDonald.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Daniels Funeral Home (1126 Ohio Ave N, Live Oak, FL 32064). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
