He was predeceased by: his father Billy Summers; his sister Kimberly; and his son John Michael. He is survived by: his mother Gwen Summers; his grandchildren, Eric, Bendy, Wriley, Dean, Carli, Kayli (Taylor), Trenna Burkett, Trent Burkett, Addilyn Warner, Summer Warner, Liam and Emmie; and his sisters, Wanda Warrick, Pam Cochran, Dawn Greene and Holly McRoy of North Carolina. He is also survived by four children, and twelve grandchildren.
