He was predeceased by: his parents, Axsom Hewiett and Eva Hewiett; his siblings, Clarice Kelley (P. F.), Delories O'Steen (George) and JC Hewiett (Annette); and his son-in-law Chad Perrin.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Hewiett of Live Oak; his daughters, Wendy Perrin of Valdosta, Georgia and Donna Bass (Tim) of Live Oak; and his grandchildren, Trevor Lister (Nicole) of Live Oak, Destiny Fox (Chris) of Panama City, Levi Bass of Live Oak and Lexi Townsend (Josh) of White Springs.
