He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ivan Frankel (Rema), Jay Frankel (Bette Borin) and Ann Raskin (Herbert). He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Mark (Nanci) and Laurie; his grandchildren, Zachary (Mallory), Eric (Patrick), Leia, Nathan and Blake (Kelsey); his great grandchildren, Barbara, Brady and Sloane; his stepsons, Garrett Glaser (Lulu), Mitchell Glaser and Brian Glaser; his stepgrandchildren, Sophie, Owen, Harper, Nina and Ramsey; and his caregivers, Sandy Hill and Elain Taylor.
