With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas P Hammelrath of Longboat Key, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William Thomas Hammelrath. He is survived by: his wife Jane; his daughters, Kara (Sean Carpen) of Chicago, IL and Kristin (Jack Blake) of New York, NY; his grandchildren, Jackson, Luella and Jack; his daughter Mother Ann; his brothers, Tim and Mark (Mary); his sister-in-law Pam (David Aukerman); and his mother Anna K. Hammelrath.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Henry Catholic Church (6696 N Springboro Pike, Dayton, OH 45449). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Sycamore Creek Country Club (8300 Country Club Ln, Springboro, OH 45066).
A Tom Hammelrath Legacy Fund has been created within the Danis Foundation to honor Tom and support the co-workers he respected and cherished. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the "Danis Foundation" to provide college scholarships for the families of Danis employees.
