He is survived by: his wife Gail Morrell; his sons, Joseph Morrell, Jr. and Desmond Morrell (Paula); his granddaughters, Ella Morrell, Olivia Morrell and Liliana Morrell; his siblings, Betty Brown, Rosalie Pitts, Enid Laverne Peterson and Paul Morrell; his mother-in-law Georgia C. Witsell; and his siblings-in-law, Patti Moore, Harold Witsell (Tyra) and Anthony Witsell (Cynthia). He is also survived by cousins, loving nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews, and many life-long friends.
