We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2025, at the age of 77, Carl Douglas Wendt of Longwood, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl S. Wendt and Bonnie J. Wendt; his brother-in-law Richard Waxenfelter; and his nephew Grady Waxenfelter (Tedra). He is survived by: his wife Marsha Wendt; his daughters, Kristi Marleau (Peter) and Kimberly Wyatt (Justin); his stepchildren, Michelle Mason (Clark) and T. J. Beasley (Lorraine); his grandchildren, Melisa Hopkins (Peyton), Gavin Beasley, Calista Mason, Elliott Marleau, Colin Marleau, Tyler Beasley and Grayson Beasley; his great grandchild Ethan Hopkins; his sister Joella Waxenfelter; and his sibling's children, Royce Waxenfelter (Bess) and Aaron Waxenfelter (Catherine).
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 5:00 PM and at 5:30 PM at the First Baptist Church of Apopka (441 S Highland Ave, Apopka, FL 32703).
