He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl S. Wendt and Bonnie J. Wendt; his brother-in-law Richard Waxenfelter; and his nephew Grady Waxenfelter (Tedra). He is survived by: his wife Marsha Wendt; his daughters, Kristi Marleau (Peter) and Kimberly Wyatt (Justin); his stepchildren, Michelle Mason (Clark) and T. J. Beasley (Lorraine); his grandchildren, Melisa Hopkins (Peyton), Gavin Beasley, Calista Mason, Elliott Marleau, Colin Marleau, Tyler Beasley and Grayson Beasley; his great grandchild Ethan Hopkins; his sister Joella Waxenfelter; and his nieces and nephews, Royce Waxenfelter (Bess) and Aaron Waxenfelter (Catherine).
