He was predeceased by: his grandson Nickolas Evenson. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Slater; his daughters, Lisa Bruns, Lori Evenson and Shannon Dowell; his sons-in-law, Robert Bruns and Rob Dowell; his grandchildren, Abbi Dowell, David Dowell, Hannah Bruns and Alec Evenson; and his great grandchild Slater Ortiz.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (335 E State Rd 434, Longwood, FL 32750). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, in tribute to Charles Slater.
