She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Shamla and Mary Shamla; her husband Andy of Mary's Catholic Church; her children, Bob and Susan; and her son-in-law Del.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Gartner (Carol) of Parker, CO, Mary Breland of Frederick, MD, Greg Gartner (Pam) of Gardner, KS, Jane Gartner of Minneapolis, MN, John Gartner (Marian) of Altamonte Springs, FL and Kathy DeOlivera (Richard) of Denver, CO; and her daughter-in-law Marilyn Gartner of Buffalo, MN. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (220 S 10th St, Bird Island, MN 55310). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to St. Mary's Catholic Church or St. Mary's School in Bird Island.
