With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert William Baker Sr. of Longwood, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Robert departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Robert leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud Baker and Henrietta Baker. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sister Judy (Jim Weaver); his children, Barbara (Tom Plaggemars), Jodi (Paul Lindstrom) and Rob Baker of Longwood, FL; and his grandchildren, Jenny (Andy Smith), Emily (Robert Whitehurst), Aimee (John Genereux) and David (Kayla Lindstrom). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to be made to Advent Health Hospice of Orlando.
