He was predeceased by: his parents, Earle Gurtler and Hermione Gurtler; and his daughter Katherine Rosenbloom. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Gurtler; his daughters, Elizabeth Sibley of Jacksonville, FL and Ashleigh Gurtler of Asheville, NC; and his siblings, Ann Kimes of Barrington, IL and Jeff Gurtler of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
