He is survived by: his wife Mary Meerdink; his siblings, Bill Meerdink and Judy Simmons; and his children, Steve Meerdink, Chris Meerdink, Carey Meerdink, Jill Hopkins, Jody Meerdink and Kimberly Merrill. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
