He was predeceased by: his father Gary William Munroe, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Elam Munroe; his wife Amy Munroe; his stepson Mario Ponce; his daughters, Carolynn Moffet (Sam Moffet) and Jennifer Arensdorf (Matt Arensdorf); his grandchildren, Ellie, Django and Grace; his siblings, Gary William Munroe, Jr. and Elizabeth Bliss Munroe Best (Gordon Best); his uncle Charles Elam; his cousins, Reggie Elam (Bruce) and Sara Elam; his nephews, Robby Munroe (Kalysta) and Trey Munroe; and his friends, Alex Rembert, Joe McCarthy, Glenda Elam and Patrice Munroe.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Southern Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery (1300 S Buffalo Soldier Trail, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
