He was predeceased by: his parents, Monica Sinner, and Dr. Bernard Sinner, Sr.; his daughter Lisa Jackson; his father-in-law Miles; his sister-in-law Terry Hellar; his uncle Ed Hacket; and his niece Molly Blum.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sinner of Lutz; his daughter Laura Toennies (Keith) of Breese; his grandchildren, Daniel Jackson, Jeffery Jackson, Amanda Jackson, Alyson Isaac (Logan), Zachary Toennies (Nikole) and Madison Toennies; his great grandchildren, Lily Madison Jackson, Elliana Nelson, Sloan Isaac, Decker and Dawson Toennies; and his siblings, Patrick Sinner (Maria), James Sinner (Patricia), Michael Sinner (Teena) and Joan Kletzker (Tom). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In accordance with his wishes, Dr. Sinner's legacy of learning will continue as he generously donated his body to science. Memorials in honor of Dr. Sinner may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and will be received by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is assisting the family locally.
