He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Jones, Sharon Wild, Kathy Lloyd and Esther Schleman; his grandchildren, Angela, Johnny, Katie, James, Gary, Ronnie, Leslie and Morgan; and his siblings, Claudette, Annette, Sandra and Roy. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blount and Curry Carrollwood Funeral Home (3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

He had a generous philanthropic spirit, donating to the Little League where his grandchildren played ball, supporting school fundraisers, and contributing to the many charities Shirley selected—continuing her giving legacy even after her passing.
