He was predeceased by : his sister Pratibha. He is survived by : his spouse Roopa Purushotham; his children, Siddhant and Srishti Srivastava; his parents, Dr Bindeshwari Prasad and Indu Bala Shrivastva; and his siblings, Prakash and Pramila. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
