She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. Blalock and Alice Hardwick Blalock; her brothers, Jimmy Blalock and Robert G. Blalock; and her cousin Olivia Fleming.
She is survived by: her son Kerry Merritt (Lisa); her grandchildren, Derek Stevens (Laura Helton), Jessica Darrow (Spencer) and David Stevens; her cousins, Amy Parrish, Virginia Bostick and Tom Hardwick; and her friend Frances Fields.
