He was predeceased by : his father Ira Burl Davis Sr.; his stepfather Ray; and his brother Ira Burl Davis Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Judy Davis; his sons, Todd Davis (Suzanne), Craig Thompson (Jill) and Nathan Davis; his grandsons, Dawson Davis and Beau Thompson; and his sisters, Gwen BenMaor (Norman), Sandra Sansbury (Don) and Susan Williams (Ted).

A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (2403 Harrison Ave, Panama City, FL 32405).
