He was predeceased by: his parents, Maximilian Kuhnel and Lena Hild Kuhnel; his son Eric Brian "Ricky" Kuhnel (Amy) of Woodstock, GA.; his grandson Kenneth Banks Brazell; his sister Gertrude "Trudy" Novenche; and the mother of his children Nancy Clemens Kuhnel.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Kuhnel Brazell of Woodstock, GA, Sandy Kuhnel Cook (Ken) of Jefferson, GA, Brenda Kuhnel Milburn of Panama City, FL and Bruce Kuhnel (Wendy) of Lynn Haven, FL; his grandchildren, Leila Cook of California, Eric Brazell (Rachael) of Canton, GA, Nicholas Cook of Panama City, FL, Brent Kuhnel (Riana) of Smyrna, GA, Alyssa Kuhnel of Glen Burnie, MD, Adam Kuhnel (Avery Warrick) of Biloxi, MS, Clifford "Ford" Kuhnel of Belleville, IL, Cypress Kuhnel of Atlanta, GA and Jesslyn Kuhnel of Lynn Haven, FL; and his great grandchild Emilia Brazell of Canton, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
