We announce the death of Joel Allen Creel of Lynn Haven, Florida, who passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 88. Joel will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Lane Creel and W. C. Creel; and his wife Sylvia Newsome Creel. He is survived by: his children, Denise Blain (David) of Panama City, Inga Brown (Garrett) of Slocomb Al and Kip Creel (James) of Atlanta, GA; his grandchild Lauryn Hollis; his great grandchildren, Kane and Memphis Simonson; and his sister Deborah Creel.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home (2403 Harrison Ave, Panama City, FL 32405). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
