He is survived by: his wife Elinore Marie Mayer; his children, Katherine Elizabeth Mayer, Karen Sue Mayer and Mark William Mayer; his grandchildren, Caitlyn Mayer, Alyssa Onkka (Ryan), Lauren Dunn (Madison), Emma Lucas (Carlton), Tess Mayer, Joshua Peterson (Melina), Miranda Miller (Gabe), Hannah Spivey (Jacob), Hayden Mayer (Lindsey), Breanna Mayer, Allysson Mayer and Cade Mayer; and his great grandchildren, Marshall Seagraves, Quintin Miller, Addison Onkka, Asher Spivey, Cooper Onkka and James Spivey.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Saint John Catholic Church (1008 Fortune Ave, Panama City, FL 32401). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 3:45 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery (2403 Harrison Ave, Panama City, FL 32405).
