With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Amos Rhoden of Macclenny, Florida, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Amos left this world on July 19, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raiford Rhoden and Ethel Reynolds Rhoden; his son Mark Anthony Rhoden; his granddaughter Sara Prevatt; his siblings, Esther Faye Tomlinson, G. W. Rhoden, Harold Rhoden and Euell Rhoden; his former wife Bobbie Fraser; and his parents-in-law, Johnny and Lois Lauramore.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Rhoden of Macclenny, FL; his children, Amy Bullard of Olustee, FL, Allen Markley (Heather) of Macclenny, FL and Ashley Byrd (John) of Glen St; and his sister Verree Greene of Macclenny, FL. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and several extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Macclenny Church of God (164 N 6th St, Macclenny, FL 32063). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
