He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Thomas and Rosa Bell Burnsed Thomas; his wife Llana Jean Thomas; his brothers, Carl, Ray and Wendell Thomas; and his grandson Preston Daniel Prescott.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kalyn Davis of Starke, FL and Tammy Prescott (Nick) of Folkston, GA. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; along with several extended family members and friends.
