With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Lamar Thompson Jr. of Macclenny, Florida, who passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norma Louise (Smith) and Donald Lamar Thompson Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Libby" Thompson of Macclenny; his children, Michael "Bubba" Thompson of Jacksonville, Robert Thompson (Jessica) of Jasper, Matthew Thompson of Macclenny and Kristin Thompson; his pet Alyssa Stewart (Shawn) of Macclenny; his siblings, Larry Thompson and Lisa Smith (Bill) of Jacksonville; and his grandchildren, Kyrie, Angeline, Corey, Carter, Waylon, Cyrus and Ayden.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at 380 N Lowder St, Macclenny, FL 32063. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
