He is survived by: his parents, Emory Padgett and Winifred Padgett (Boatright); his sons, Chad Padgett (Michele) of Lake City, Brad Padgett (Becky) of Glen St and Joel Padgett of St. George, Georgia; his siblings, RoAnn Padgett (Vicki) of Glen St, Juanice Padgett, Mayor of Glen St and JoAnn Johns (Dennis) of Orange Park; his mother-in-law Barbara Bell of St. George, Georgia; his brother-in-law Ty Canaday of Lake City; his aunt Ingrid; his uncle Ronnie Boatright of Doctors Inlet; his grandchildren, Jessica, Jason Atkins, Morgan, Jacob Strickland, Mason Filosi, Luke Padgett, Lincoln Padgett, Kaytlen Satterwhite, Kyleigh Satterwhite, Eli Padgett and Penelope Padgett; and his great grandchildren, Emmarie Atkins, Millie Atkins and Brynlie Atkins. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christian Fellowship Temple (251 W Ohio Ave, Macclenny, FL 32063). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 at the Manntown Cemetery.
