He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Canady and Mattie Canady; his sister Sandra Mikell; his brother-in-law Gene Mikell; and his grandson Marcus Sharman.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Canady; his brothers, Bruce Canady and Wayne Canady (Madeline); his children, Stacey Sharman (Charlie), Garold Canady (Robin) and Kristi Carter (Jerry); his grandchildren, Crystal Cabral (Joe), Tanner Sharman (Macey), Jarred Carter (Jamie), Kameron Carter (Elise), Blake Roberts-Carter (Julie), Kristyn West (Matt) and Blaine Roberts (Kaylee); and his great grandchildren, Isaac, Isabella, Angelina, Ian Cabral, Harper, Atlas, Alistair Sharman, Huntyr, Fyscher Carter, Milleigh, Crews Carter, Lane, Lily, Lincoln West and Bellami Roberts-Carter.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Macedonia Cemetery (250 N Lowder St, Macclenny, FL 32063).
