She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Mae Henson McDade and Yates Holland McDade, Jr. (Bud); her son Ross Elliot Dinkins; Betty Jean McDade McGinnis. She is survived by: her husband Vernon Leroy Norris; and her children, Robin Dinkins Phillips (George), Belonia Robert Dinkins III (Christy), Stuart Wayne Dinkins (Vicki) and Tony Len Dinkins (Terrie). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and many nieces.
