He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Jones and Tressie Jones Reynolds (Davis); his siblings, Earl, Franklin Jones, Bernice Raulerson and Margaret Sands; and his son Gary Jones.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Floyd Harvey and Martha Faye Gainey; and his stepgrandson Dennis Jerrett. He is also survived by several other step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
