She was predeceased by : her father Monroe Clay; her grandparents, Mattie Mae Thomas, Cydney Clay, Ruthie Mae McClain and Earnest McClain; her uncle Earnest McClain; and her brother Norman Jackson.

She is survived by : her mother Betty G McClain; her daughters, Kiesha Harris (Juan) and Angelica Sheppard; her grandchildren, Kailah Singletary, Regan Harris, Amoni Brown, Morgan Harris and Juan Harris Jr.; her siblings, Jenine Clay and Reginald Clay; her nieces and nephews, Tyrie Florence (Cherith), Norman Jackson Jr., Denyia Hickerson (Irving), Moneesha Florence, Jashauna Florence and Lakisha Haynes; her aunts and uncles, Robert McClain, Lenorris McClain (Kshara), Izell McClain, Dennis McClain (Kinshara), Ella Ruth McClain, Elaine McClain and Betty Lock-Bell; her siblings, Princess Bailey and Kenneth Lock; and her close friends, Ava D Curry and Hope Jackson-Anderson. She is also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eric A. Brown & Son Funeral Home (1221 3rd St NW, Jasper, FL 32052). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 4:00 PM at 1153 US-41, Jennings, FL 32052.
