She was predeceased by : her parents, William Walter Shaw and Annie Lee Pinson Shaw; her husband C. Herring; her grandparents, Thomas, Addie Lee Slaughter Pinson and Rosa Lee Rutherford Shaw; her grandson Charles O'Neil Herring; and her siblings, Evie Mae Shaw Diamond, John Q. Shaw and T. J. Shaw.
She is survived by : her sons, Jerry Herring (Carol) and Kenneth Herring; her grandchildren, Brody Herring (Stacey), Simmi Ann Herring Taylor (Jason), Jordan, Luke and Casey Herring; her great grandchildren, Dawson Herring, Brice Herring, Vance Taylor, Rubie Louise Taylor and Huck Malcolm Taylor; and her siblings, Betty Deloach of Valdosta, Marie Shaw of Jackson, Georgia and William Shaw (Clemmie) of Panama City, Florida.
