He was predeceased by : his parents, Hardy Bailey and Esther Chason Bailey; and his siblings, Malcolm Bailey, Lillian Bailey Taylor and Sylvia Ann Bailey.

He is survived by : his siblings, Anita Bailey Burnett of Greenville and Irving Bailey of Perry. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
